Magnolia Labs respects the privacy of people who visit its website, submit information, use Magnolia's Guide, use the Opportunity Explorer, or contact Magnolia about its services.

This page explains the types of information Magnolia may collect, how that information may be used, and the choices available to you.

Information Magnolia may collect

Magnolia may collect information that you provide directly, including:

  • your name
  • email address
  • telephone number

  • role or job title
  • information about your business
  • descriptions of workflows, operating problems, or potential projects

  • messages and other information you choose to provide.

Magnolia may also collect basic technical information associated with use of the website, such as browser type, device type, pages visited, approximate location, referring page, and website activity.

How Magnolia may use information

Magnolia may use submitted information to:

  • respond to an inquiry
  • provide the Guide or Opportunity Explorer
  • prepare a requested briefing or other material
  • understand an operating problem or potential project
  • schedule and conduct conversations
  • perform public business research when permission is provided

  • comply with legal obligations
  • communicate about a submission or potential engagement.

Magnolia will not use submitted information to create an implementation project without further discussion and agreement.

Voice conversations and transcripts

Magnolia's Guide may process voice recordings, transcripts, and structured information generated from a conversation.

This information may be used to operate the Guide, prepare requested materials, understand the submission, and support follow-up by Magnolia.

Do not submit passwords, financial account credentials, Social Security numbers, medical information, payment-card data, trade secrets, or other highly sensitive information through a public website intake.

Public business research

When you provide permission, Magnolia may review publicly available information about your business to add context to a briefing or inquiry.

Public research may include information available through company websites, public directories, professional profiles, public social-media pages, news sources, and similar public materials.

Magnolia does not guarantee that publicly available information is complete or accurate.

Service providers

Magnolia uses third-party service providers to operate its website and services.

These providers may assist with:

  • website hosting
  • database and file storage
  • scheduling
  • email delivery
  • voice processing and transcription
  • analytics and security
  • AI-assisted generation
  • workflow automation.

These providers may process information as needed to perform services for Magnolia.

Use of an external scheduling page or other third-party service may also be governed by that provider's privacy practices.

Website analytics

Magnolia Labs uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how visitors use the website and how it performs.

Vercel Analytics collects anonymized, aggregated information about page visits. This may include the page URL, referring page, approximate country, device type, browser, and operating system. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses, and does not track or identify individual visitors across sessions.

Speed Insights collects anonymized Core Web Vitals and page performance metrics. These measurements are associated with the page URL and device type, not with any individual visitor.

In addition to page views, Magnolia may use Vercel Analytics to record specific anonymized interactions, such as whether a visitor clicked a scheduling link or completed the Guide intake flow. No names, email addresses, form contents, submission records, or other personal information are included in these interactions.

Analytics data is collected for public-facing pages only. Administrative and internal pages are not tracked.

This information is used to understand which pages are visited, where visitors come from, and how the site performs. It is not shared with advertising networks and is not used to build profiles of individual visitors.

AI processing

Information submitted through Magnolia's interactive tools may be processed by AI systems to organize responses, summarize information, generate possible opportunities, or prepare requested materials.

AI-generated material may contain errors or incomplete interpretations. Outputs should not be treated as professional, legal, financial, technical, or operational advice without appropriate review.

Magnolia may review AI-generated materials before or after delivery, depending on the feature and workflow involved.

Information sharing

Magnolia does not sell personal information.

Magnolia may share information:

  • with service providers that help operate the website and services
  • when necessary to respond to a request
  • with professional advisers when reasonably necessary
  • when required by law, court order, or valid legal process
  • when necessary to protect Magnolia, its users, or others from fraud, misuse, security threats, or harm
  • as part of a business transaction involving Magnolia, subject to appropriate protections.

Information retention

Magnolia may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • respond to the submission
  • provide requested materials
  • evaluate or perform a potential engagement
  • maintain business and security records
  • improve services
  • comply with legal obligations
  • resolve disputes.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.

Security

Magnolia uses reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect submitted information.

No website, transmission method, storage system, or AI service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should avoid submitting information through public website tools when unauthorized access would create a serious risk.

Your choices

You may contact Magnolia to request:

  • access to personal information associated with you
  • correction of inaccurate information
  • deletion of information
  • withdrawal of consent for future contact
  • clarification about how submitted information has been used.

Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, recordkeeping, or the resolution of a dispute.

Email and follow-up

Magnolia may contact you in response to a submission or request.

Magnolia should not send unrelated promotional email unless you have separately agreed to receive it or another lawful basis applies.

You may ask Magnolia to stop nonessential email communication at any time.

Children's privacy

Magnolia's website and services are intended for businesses and adults.

They are not directed to children under 13, and Magnolia does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
